Stephen Colbert has a confession to make. Well, let’s back up a little.

In his recent, roundly mocked ad, Texas Governor Rick Perry says that you “don’t have to be in the pew every Sunday to know that something is wrong” with our country in that “gays can serve openly in the military and our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas.”

Colbert wholeheartedly agrees, for he knows that loving Christmas, “unlike being gay, is not a choice.” And this is when Stephen “outs” himself in a very brave and stirring tribute to the Christmas-loving lifestyle.
