New York hip-hop DJ Jay Smooth has a pretty low opinion of the anti-abortion campaign “Until Abortion Ends,” which encourages young people to give something up until women can no longer access safe abortion procedures.

In a new video published to YouTube, he seems confused at the things people are vowing to give up, like caffeine, junk food or trans fats.

“That’s not really a protest,” he said. “That’s …. That’s not really a sacrifice. That’s like, a diet. You’re just taking another shot at your New Year’s resolution, and calling it a protest this time. That doesn’t count, no.”

This video is from YouTube, published Dec. 14, 2011.
