There comes a time in every dysfunctional, addictive relationship when a friend or family member has to initiate a frank and open discussion of the problem in order to begin the process of addressing the issue and ultimately healing. With that in mind, Republicans, Jon Stewart would like to have a word with you about your Gingrich problem. You may desperately want to believe that Newt Gingrich is like your beloved President Grampa Ronald Reagan, but, Stewart says, Newt is like what you’d have if Ronald Reagan been “abandoned as a child and raised by cactuses.”

Part Two continues Jon’s “Intervention 2012″ in which he compares voting for Newt while hoping for Reagan to hiding in some sunless basement “sucking d*&k” to score five dollars for another hit of crack. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
