Campaign promises are pretty standard this time of year, but this one may be going a little too far.

At a campaign stop in Concord, New Hampshire Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney promised one college student that she would definitely have a job if he wins next November — but not if President Barack Obama is re-elected.

“Why should we mobilize for you as a candidate instead of Obama, which we did in 2008?” Bowling Green University student Kallie Durkit asked the former Massachusetts governor.

“What I can promise you is this: when you get out of college, if I’m president, you’ll have a job,” Romney replied. “If President Obama is re-elected, you will not be able to get a job.”
