Jon Stewart: Santorum is the guy Romney is pretending to be
Last night’s last night’s The Daily Show featured a two-part recap of the results of the Iowa caucuses. It explored the anachronistic thrill of watching people stuff handwritten ballots into boxes, weighed the value of winning the presidency versus the pleasure of little dogs in sunglasses, and then arrived at a startling conclusion.
According to Jon Stewart, Rick Santorum, grandson of a coal-miner and redder-than-red-state Conservative true believer, is the guy that Mitt Romney is pretending to be on the campaign trail.
