Colbert weighing presidential run after shock poll
As the Republican primary race rolls ever onward, it looks as if Mitt Romney has a real chance to become the inevitable nominee, and South Carolina could be his do-or-die moment.
Oddly enough, a recent survey by Public Policy Polling found that South Carolina voters have another candidate in mind: Stephen Colbert, who was leading Republican Jon Huntsman and narrowly trailing Rick Perry. On last night’s Colbert Report, Stephen reacted to the news and said that he will be making a special announcement on tonight’s show, saying, “This just got real.”
