Maddow: Florida ‘is the anti-abortion primary’

On her show Monday night, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow explained why Florida was “the anti-abortion primary” for Republican presidential candidates.

Republican state lawmakers filed 18 measures related to abortion in 2011, and five of those bills were signed into law. Even though the latest legislative session has only recently begun, Republicans are already pushing for multiple anti-abortion bills.
