Young Turks: GOP attacks on Newt almost make you feel sorry for him
The Republican establishment is mounting a full court press to try and avert a Newt Gingrich candidacy. In this clip from The Young Turks, host Cenk Uygur gives a run-down of this week’s fusillade of anti-Newt sentiment from right wing opinion-makers from Newt’s main rival Mitt Romney to The Weekly Standard to Matt Drudge of The Drudge Report.
The pile-on has been so intense, Uygur said, that it almost makes you feel sorry for Newt. The operative word here is, of course, “almost.”
