An Texas cop made a timely rescue this past weekend, saving two women from their sinking car in a Dallas-area lake.

According to AOL.com, Rockwall County Deputy Kevin Rowan was on a routine check of local boats when he spotted brake lights from Lake Ray Hubbard.

Within moments, he had both women out of the vehicle, just before it sank to the bottom.

The two woman said they ended up in the lake by getting lost in the dark and accidentally driving off a boat ramp. Neither suffered any injuries.
