Hundreds of active U.S. troops marched to the White House Monday afternoon, expressing support for Rep. Ron Paul’s (R-TX) anti-war positions and promoting their belief the U.S. should end overseas combat.

The march began at the Washington Monument and produced chants of “Ron Paul” from troops on their way to the White House.

Despite promises to cut the military budget, Paul has received more donations from members of the military than any presidential candidate, including President Barack Obama.
