Former Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) was involved in a car crash Saturday afternoon in downtown Orlando after running through a red light.

Grayson was traveling to a campaign fundraising event when his Mercedes collided into a Lynx bus, according to the WESH-TV. Grayson and a passenger accompanying him to the fundraiser event were not hurt, while two people on the bus claimed to have received minor injuries.

The fundraiser for the event featured Robert F. Kennedy Jr and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress Cheryl Hines, although media coverage for the event was not allowed.

Grayson is running for Congress for a second time this year after he was defeated by Republican Daniel Webster in 2010.
