On Friday night’s edition of The Rachel Maddow Show, Rachel treated viewers to some of the priceless comments that Facebook users have been posting to the timelines of Sam Brownback and other Republican governors whose state legislatures are currently attempting to enact draconian anti-abortion laws.

“Do you have a crossword puzzle book that I can have, for in between pregnancies?” quipped one commenter, “Seeing as I can’t do much walking around with this aspirin between my knees.”

“Do you think it’s true that 100% of pregnancies in Kansas were caused by men?” asks another, “And if so, do you have a proposal to deal with them?”

It was a lighthearted way to segue into a more ominous subject, the fact that many of the Republican politicians pushing these laws on the public are ignorant as to their actual content. Maddow welcomes Rep. Jan Schakowski (D-Illinois) for the second half of this segment.
