Jon Stewart laughs at Lawrence O’Donnell for ‘grilling a chair’
Daily Show host Jon Stewart on Tuesday was highly entertained by a segment on MSNBC, where the lawyer for George Zimmerman pulled out of a scheduled interview and host Lawrence O’Donnell angrily questioned an empty chair.
“He’s grilling the chair!” Stewart laughed.
“No, the chair doesn’t have medical records to show you! It’s a chair! You should be yelling at the filing cabinet.”
“You know, I live in the New York City, I see a lot of people yelling at chairs,” he added. “None of them have TV shows.”
