On Thursday night’s “The Colbert Report,” host Stephen Colbert took on the topic of the Mega Millions Lottery prize, which is currently up to $540 million. Colbert claims to hold the winning ticket, having used techniques he learned from watching “Good Morning America” to choose his numbers.

“Good Morning America” hosted “renowned Lotto expert” Richard Lustig on Thursday, who offered advice to people playing the lottery, including never picking a number that has won before and never letting the machine choose your numbers.

Colbert then offered his own “expert” tips to viewers hoping to strike it rich, urging them to buy his book, “Stephen Colbert’s Guide to Winning a Coin Toss Half of the Time.”
