Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) showed no signs of holding back her sentiments on Florida’s “Stand our Ground” laws Sunday morning, slamming the legislation in the midst of the Trayvon Martin shooting.

Maloney appeared on MSNBC’s Up with Chris Hayes and expressed her fears over the law.

“I would call these laws ‘Kill at will,’” she said. “I think they should be brought back across the country. I should not be armed walking the streets. I think that the basic question is what do we do about it, to prevent it in the future, whether as we as policy makers and writers and concerned citizens do to make sure it doesn’t happen to other young men and women.”
