In a filing this week, the American Nazi Party registered one John Bowles as their official lobbyist in Washington, D.C.

Bowles was the National Socialist Order of America’s candidate for the presidency in 2008, running on a platform of white racial supremacy and opposition to ethnic minorities, who he said should be sent back to their nations or origin.

Speaking to a reporter with U.S. News and World Report, which broke the story, Bowles said he would be “very careful” about which issues he champions and which members of Congress he approaches.

His lobbyist registration form claims he will be lobbying on issues pertaining to “political rights and ballot access laws.”
