Stephen Colbert was both enamored and concerned Tuesday evening with Canada developing a glow-in-the-dark coin, the first of its kind based on a dinosaur fossil.

Worried that young Americans would be impressed over their neighbors to the north’s new coin, Colbert warned his country about the threat Canada is bringing towards them.

“Canada is coming after our young people,” he said. “What did you think they are going to prefer: A glow-in-the-dark dino quarter or this green rectangle of a creepy old pervert on it? Nation, we must fight this before we lose a generation of young Americans to the scourge of Canada politeness and fiscal sanity. U.S. Mint, get to work on a scratch-and-sniff dollar. Or maybe a 3D dime where FDR’s head turns towards you and yells, ‘Die Nazis!’”
