Report: RFK Jr.’s wife found hanged
A coroner ruled on Thursday that the cause of death for Mary Richardson Kennedy was suicide, and an unnamed source told The Associated Press she was found hanging in her New York home.
Kennedy had grappled with drug and alcohol problems, and at the time of her death was in the process of divorcing her husband, the son of former Senator and assassinated presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy. They had four children.
Kennedy’s body was found on Wednesday, and a medical examiner has said she died due to asphyxiation.
