Hedge fund manager Jonathan Hoenig once again presented a strong right-wing position on the Fox News weekend show Cashin’ In Saturday afternoon, when he labeled America’s regulators as job “destroyers.”

Hoenig, who is the managing member at the Capitalist Pig hedge fund, was in a panel discussion over stay at home moms obtaining credit cards.

“Regulators are professional destroyers,” Hoenig said. “The fact of the matter is that credit cards had little to zero to do with the crisis. Nothing to do with the crisis, and the regulations, which are a few years older, have had a destructive effect. They’ve made credit more expensive and less available.”

This is just Hoenig’s latest attack on regulation. In May 2009, Hoenig called executive pay regulation “another step towards total fascist rule.” He also whined in 2008 when asking the question, “Why should I be responsible for paying for Joe Biden’s brain aneurysms?” when wrongly stating that Biden and then Senator Barack Obama fully supported socialized health care.
