Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R) thought Saturday morning that the news media’s coverage of 43 Catholic institutions suing the Obama administration over the birth control mandate has been very minimal.

Making his usual appearance on one of the weekend editions of Fox and Friends, the GOP Southern Baptist figure compared what he thought as the media’s neglect to the story to several historic 20th century events in American history.

“It’s like not covering the ‘I Have a Dream Speech’ by Martin Luther King speech in 1963,” Huckabee said. “It’s like missing the Roe v Wade decision and not thinking that’s significant. It’s like somehow missing Brown v Board of Education. This is one of the most significant, historic lawsuits in the past 100 years.”
