Activists in Syria are blaming their government for what they considered to be a massacre in Houla Friday evening, when 90 people, including 32 children, were shot dead in one of the country’s bloodiest events in its 15 month uprising.

Video images have emerged of the graphic violence taking place in the Homs province, including a few individuals holding the artillery used in the deadly actions.

The Syrian government denied any responsibility for the killings, blaming the killings on “hundreds of heavily armed gunman.”
