A British woman was sentenced to 21 weeks in jail on Tuesday after video of her berating minorities on the London Underground was uploaded to YouTube, according to BBC News.
“Fucking foreign fucking shitheads,” Jacqueline Woodhouse, 42, yelled at her fellow passengers after boarding the train. “Where did you come from?”
Video of her racist rant was filmed on a mobile phone and uploaded to YouTube in February. The video has since received more than 277,000 views.
“Anyone viewing it would feel a deep sense of shame that our citizens could be subject to such behavior who may, as a consequence, believe that it secretly represents the views of other white people,” District Judge Michael Snow said during the sentencing.
“The train was packed with people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. The people included children.”
The woman plead guilty to racially aggravated intentional harassment earlier this month. She said she had been drinking alcohol.
