Rep. Allen West (R-FL) added to his growing list of eye-raising statements at his latest town hall event Tuesday afternoon in Boca Raton, Florida, including calling woman who disagree with him as his “groupies.”

“Oh those are my liberal groupies,” West said while pointing to a camera person. “I’ve got groupies, man.”

That action from West prompted a woman from the audience to castigate the Florida congressman.

“That was rude, you shouldn’t talk to those women like that,” the woman said. “Excuse me congressman, that was a crude remark you made about those young women.”

“You have a sense of humor?” West replied.

“No, I don’t have a sense of humor when it comes to that,” the woman shot back.

West also got upset over a constituent bringing up the congressman allegedly assaulting an Iraqi police officer while he was in the military in 2003.

“So if you guys want to go back and talk about what happened nine years ago for me, let’s talk about the president doing blow, and smoking dope,” he fumed.
