Jon Stewart mocks Wisconsin recall coverage with Mad Men send-up

You know you’re only a few days before this season’s finale of Mad Men when you see totally unrelated product placement worked into The Daily Show’s treatment of the Wisconsin recall.

Following an Abraham Lincoln penis joke, Jon Stewart offered a critique of the media coverage surrounding the much-anticipated Wisconsin recall election, beginning with a Fox News interview with a random Wisconsin teacher who once lived in China.

“If Governor Walker is not re-elected and the unions continue to thrive, I see a lot of freedoms and choices for teachers for Wisconsin –for people who live in the state– to be taken away. It’s not going to get as extremist [sic] as Communism, but those choices will slowly go away,” the teacher said.
