Netroots Nation has snagged one of 2012′s highest-profile candidates, Elizabeth Warren, who is running for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts against Sen. Scott Brown (R). Warren also spearheded efforts to establish the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The panel, called “2012 and the War on (and for) Women” and moderated by the Huffington Post’s Amanda Terkel, will take a look at the 2012 elections through the lens of recent anti-choice legislation pushed on both the state and national level. The War on Women raises the question of what it will take to place more progressive women in office.

The panel also features Hawaii’s Mazie Hirono, who would be the first Asian-American woman ever in to the U.S. Senate if elected this fall, and Washington’s Darcy Burner, who is running for seat in the House and is the former executive director of ProgressiveCongress.org and the Progressive Congress Action Fund.

Watch live, broadcast via Netroots Nation on June 8, scheduled to begin at noon Eastern.
