Polarizing conservative figure Ann Coulter argued Sunday morning that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney had a terrific record in all of his jobs, including being governor of Massachusetts.

Upset over the Democrats continuing to attack Romney over Bain Capital, Coutler launched her latest full defense of the GOP top figure on ABC’s This Week panel discussion, which also featured Van Jones, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell.

“Romney has had a Midas touch with everything he has done,’ she said.

“Massachusetts, Massachusetts?” Rendell asked in disbelief.

“Yes, as governor of Massachusetts, with an 85 percent Democratic legislature, he’s slashed spending, which is what our federal government needs,” she replied.

Coutler made certain to avoid mentioning Romney’s abysmal job record in Massachusetts, which ranked 47th out of all 50 states during his four year tenure.
