President Barack Obama delivered a pre-recorded message to the progressive Netroots Nation annual event Saturday evening, emphasizing his administration’s accomplishments and trying to drive home the message for his base to choose him over Mitt Romney.
Discussing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal and the end of the Iraq War, Obama made clear that despite those tasks handled, there is still a lot of work required if he is to be re-elected.
“Change is hard, but we’ve seen that it is possible,” Obama said. “As long as you’re willing to keep up that fight, I’ll be right there with you.”
