An 18-month-old girl was treated for minor injuries after she was thrown from an SUV during a police chase in Lubbock, Texas.

Police said that they were notified by a 19-year-old victim Saturday night after the toddler’s 17-year-old father and three other teenagers allegedly stole her purse.

Authorities were pursuing the teens when a police cruiser’s video camera caught the SUV’s driver losing control and flipping the vehicle. The toddler can be seen falling out onto the pavement. After a few seconds, the shocked child stands and then falls again. Someone from the stolen vehicle then grabs the child and attempts to flee on foot.

Kenny Jimenez, the 17-year-old father, was later arrested. Two 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boy were also taken into custody.

The teens face multiple charges including aggravated robbery, organized crime and injury to a child.
