Neil Munro of the Dally Caller has received loads of criticism for interrupting President Barack Obama during a speech on Friday. But his harshest critic may be Erica Payne, the President and Founder of The Agenda Project.

“The Daily Caller is probably one of the stupidest news outlets that this country has to suffer through,” she said on The Young Turks. “Just go and look at every bit of their news coverage from taxes to national security and everything in between, everything they cover has no basis in fact… I’m sure his editor Tucker Carlson sent him a bottle of champagne.

Munro claimed on Friday that he had thought the president had finished delivering an official statement on immigration policy when he began yelling questions in the White House Rose Garden. But as CNN’s Howard Kurtz noted, “[H]e kept on talking while the president was trying to speak.”

“This guy went in there with a job to do,” Payne continued. “He did the job. Now he will be appropriately rewarded by his right-wing people and nobody else should pay attention to him.”

Carlson, who is a Fox News contributor as well as being the editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller, had responded to the incident by saying, “This is what reporters are supposed to do. They’re supposed to get their questions answered. It’s hard to know what’s wrong with asking the president a question.”

Payne bluntly said Munro was an “idiot” and was sure “he’s a racist.”
