Pastor Paul Mullet of Crusaders For Yahweh-Aryan Nations LLC registered as a lobbyist last week, according to The Hill.

Mullet described his group as being “pro-white Christian identity white nationalism” on the registration form. He plans to lobby lawmakers in Washington, D.C. regarding “any activities that adversely affect the White Race.”

“We need to have Christianity brought back to American society,” Mullet told The Hill. “For one, the white race is being targeted as a hate group. Everywhere we turn, we are being depicted as a bunch of inbreds… It is time we take a stand.”

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Mullet was previously a Ku Klux Klan member and has been convicted of several crimes, including third-degree burglary.

“I not only believe [President Obama] wasn’t born in this country, but I also believe that he’s the Antichrist, and with 2012 coming around the corner, that if something doesn’t happen soon, that in this world, as we know it, there’s going to be a pitched battle,” he said in 2010.

Mullet is not the first white nationalist to register as a lobbyist. In April, the American Nazi Party registered John Bowles as their official lobbyist in Washington, D.C.
