Fox News co-host Dana Perino on Monday suggested that non-whites have “all the advantages” at universities and dismissed a campaign to promote racial justice in Minnesota.

Earlier this year, the Un-Fair Campaign attempted to address white privilege and racism in Duluth by promoting their message on billboards, social networks and newspapers and television news.

On Monday, Fox News’ The Five mocked the group’s web videos where white men and women call attention to white privilege by writing messages on their faces like, “Lucky to be White” and “We’re privileged people see us, not a color.”

“Do you think scribbling dopey phrases on your forehead makes you appear thoughtful?” co-host Greg Gutfeld asked. “When an idiot writes ‘No Hate’ on his cheek, it just makes the idiot easier to spot.”

But co-host Bob Beckel approved of the campaign: “I think the message is the right one. And I also think it is true that if you’re white in America, you have advantages.”

“If you’re black in America, you also have advantages,” Gutfeld remarked.

“And if you are at a university and you happen to be non-white then you have advantages, all the advantages, right?” Perino agreed.

“The tremendous advantage is that you end up having — you could become president of the United States,” Gutfeld said, referring to Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president.

According to data obtained by the the Un-Fair Campaign, 80 percent of white students in Duluth graduated in 2010, compared with a graduation rate of 34 percent for Native American students and 25 percent for black students.
