
President Barack Obama made a campaign stop in Denver on Wednesday with Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown law student who has become the face of the debate over contraception coverage.
Fluke and Obama are visiting in the same week that Colorado Personhood gathered enough signatures for its third attempt at a ballot measure that would define life as beginning at fertilization, a move that experts say is not only designed to outlaw abortion but also birth control. The previous two measures in 2008 and 2010 garnered only 30 percent of the vote.
