Dr. Jerome Corsi, a tea party activist and conspiracy theorist, on Saturday accused Fox News of being too liberal.
In a video uploaded to YouTube, Corsi said Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) was the “best possible choice” for Romney and said the tea party movement would rally behind the new vice presidential candidate.
“Fox may now finally get behind Romney,” he added. “Fox has been moving to the left. Maybe we will finally hear some less of [Fox News host] Bob Beckel.”
Corsi has written numerous books criticizing Obama, claiming he is a radical who is not eligible to be President of the United States because he is not a natural born citizen. He recently gained attention for questioning whether Obama was married to his male Pakistani roommate before he married Michelle in 1992.
Corsi later said in his video that the media tried to please the left and that Fox News was “packed with leftist commentators.” He warned the news network that they were in danger of losing their core conservative audience.
