Obama continued his swing through Iowa on Tuesday, stopping in Oskaloosa to speak to supporters.

His campaigning in the state coincided with brand new VP pick Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), and Obama’s stump speech touched on Congress’ failure to pass the controversial farm bill, which Republicans slathered with $16 billion in cuts to the food stamp program.

On a surprise stop on Monday, Obama hit up the Iowa State Fair, where he reportedly ate a beer and a pork chop. He also purchased beers for 10 people, so long as they weren’t holding a Romney sign.
