
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan answered questions at a town hall in Manchester, New Hampshire on Monday.
Ryan’s addition to the Republican presidential ticket has widely been viewed as problematic due to his previous proposed cuts to Medicare. As the Washington Post reported in anticipation of Monday’s town hall, about 14 percent of New Hampshire voters are over the age of 65.
Though it’s typically classified as a swing state, New Hampshire has put its four electoral votes to the Democratic candidate in four of the last five presidential elections.
