New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu holds a news conference on Isaac, which has officially been upgraded to a category 1 hurricane status, on Tuesday.
President Barack Obama already declared a state of emergency in Louisiana on Tuesday morning and New Orleans is bracing for Isaac.
Update (8/24/12 at 12:25 p.m. Eastern): Reports have come in that Tropical Storm Isaac has officially been upgraded to a hurricane.
