Jon Stewart mocks Democrats for failing to defend Obama
On his show Tuesday night, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart lampooned Democrats who responded timidly and inconclusively to the question of whether Americans were better off now than four years ago. The question, first used by Ronald Reagan, was invoked once again by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Obama’s supporters appeared to be caught off guard over the weekend.
