The youngest survivor of the French Alps shooting, four-year-old Zeena al-Hilli, is unable to provide any further help to the investigation into the murder of her parents and grandmother, a prosecutor said Friday.
Annecy prosecutor Eric Maillaud told AFP: “She was questioned again last night, but without giving many more details. We have to be extremely careful about the declarations of a traumatised little girl.”
The condition of the girl’s elder sister, Zainab, 7, who suffered a bullet wound to a shoulder and a fractured skull as a result of blows to the head, was improving, Maillaud said.
“She was operated on again, she is doing well,” he said. “Her state of health is no longer causing much worry. She is out of danger.”
