Hustler publisher Larry Flynt has offered up to $1 million to anyone who releases details of Mitt Romney’s tax returns.

In a full-page ad to be featured in The Washington Post and USA Today, the porn mogul offers the huge sum of cash to anyone who can provide verifiable information regarding the Republican presidential candidate’s “unreleased tax returns and/or details of his offshore assets, bank accounts and business partnerships.”

“What is he hiding?” Flynt asks in the ad. “Maybe, now, we’ll find out.”

Democrats have made a major issue out of Romney’s reluctance to release more than two years worth of tax returns. The Republican presidential candidate recently said he will not release tax returns before 2010 because he doesn’t want to disclose charitable donations to the Mormon church.

Romney’s 2010 tax return showed he paid a tax rate of only 13.9 percent and kept much of his wealth in offshore tax havens.

Flynt has previously sought to dig up dirt on other politicians, including offering $1 million to anyone with proof of “an illicit sexual liaison” involving Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry. The left-leaning porn mogul also offered former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) a job after he resigned from office in disgrace amid a “sexting” scandal.
