Libya authorities have informed the U.S. that at least four men have been arrested in connection with the deaths of U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three members of his staff.

“Some individuals suspected of involvement in the attack on the American Embassy in the city of Benghazi that resulted in the killing of the American Ambassador and three of his companions have been arrested,” Libyan Deputy Minister of Interior Wanis Al-Sharif said in a statement.

It was not immediately clear if the suspects were Libyans or foreigners. U.S. officials had not yet conducted interviews with the men, according to NPR.
