Jon Stewart appeared Tuesday night on The O’Reilly Factor to promote the upcoming debate between the Fox News host and the political comedian.

During his appearance, Stewart was asked what he thought about the conventions and about Sandra Fluke’s speech in particular.

“I thought she was very well possessed, did a very nice job there. I know she is a particular punching-bag for you,” he responded.

“No, no, no,” O’Reilly objected.

“God forbid a woman come out of nowhere and speak about an issue close to her heart without Dr. Doom here raining death from above.”

Stewart also said Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention in Tampa was refreshing. He denied that it was disrespectful for the actor to treat an empty chair like Obama, noting that the point of the conventions was essentially to trash the opposition.
