‘Mr. Belding’ from ‘Saved by the Bell’ takes up pro wrestling

In one of the more curious and odd stories of the week, 61-year-old actor Dennis Haskins, perhaps best known for his portrayal of “Mr. Belding” on television’s “Saved by the Bell,” stepped into the ring with professional wrestlers in New Jersey and laid the hammer down.

It’s not clear what got him interested in the faux sport, but he seemed to take to it with uncanny ease and reportedly said he’d be up for another appearance.
