A jewelry store robbery in Seattle Friday was thwarted by a group of bystanders, who piled onto the suspect while waiting for police to arrest him.

According to KING-TV, the suspect was shooting a gun as he fled from the scene when he was tackled by Roberto Sandoval, a doorman at a nearby hotel.

Several other men then joined Sandoval in holding the subject down on the ground before police arrived.

“You ain’t going nowhere, (bleep),” one man says in the video.

Sandoval, who can be seen standing up in his work uniform, was allegedly shot in the hand and was taken to a hospital.

KING also reported the gun allegedly used in the crime was recovered near where he was tackled. A gun can be seen in the video, with members of the crowd telling each other not to touch it.

The station’s video of the group holding the suspect for police, posted Friday, can be seen below.
