Jon Stewart and senior black correspondent Larry Wilmore skewer voter ID laws

The Daily Show host Jon Stewart blasted Pennsylvania’s voter ID law on his show Tuesday night with some help from senior black correspondent Larry Wilmore. Noting that grandmas and World War II veterans had faced impediments because of the law, Wilmore said lawmakers couldn’t just hope for laws to disproportionally affect African-Americans. “Not just on paper, racism works best in person,” he mockingly said.
