Former Sen. Arlen Specter dies at 82
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter, a Republican turned Democrat, passed away Sunday morning at his home in Philadelphia. Specter, 82, died from complications of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, according to his son. He underwent chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s disease in 2005 and 2008.
