Dead pig wearing Romney shirt left outside California GOP office

A dead pig with barbed wire around its head and a Romney/Ryan 2012 tshirt on its torso was found outside a Republican campaign office in Manhattan Beach, California on Thursday.

The Los Angeles-area office was otherwise undamaged and whoever dumped the animal’s remains didn’t leave much of an explanation.

“I thought it was a dead body because of the way he approached it,” a passer-by told KABC 7 in Los Angeles. “And then we he lifted the shirt, he saw the head wrapped in barbed wire and it’s cut in half, the whole skull was. It looked like something from a butcher’s market.”

Animal control said it is investigating the incident as an improper dumping of an animal carcass. The Republican office was reportedly empty all day on Thursday.
