Stephanie R. Bongiovi, 19, daughter of New Jersey rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, was hospitalized and arrested on charges of drug possession after she was found unconscious and unresponsive in a dorm room at New York’s Hamilton College. According to CNY Central, Kirkland, NY police and paramedics found a small amount of heroin along with other drug-related items when they arrived on the scene just before 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Bongiovi was taken to a hospital and revived, then charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Another Hamilton student, 21-year-old Ian S. Grant, was also taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Bongiovi is Jon Bon Jovi’s only daughter and the eldest of his four children. He is scheduled to perform at a New York City benefit for Hurricane Sandy relief hosted by Hamilton College in December.
