Fisherman for the show Sports Fishing Television were hoping to catch a big one off the coast of Louisiana on Friday but they got more than bargained for when an oil rig exploded in the background of their shot.

In video obtained by KHOU on Monday, several fisherman react as Black Elk Energy’s platform bursts into flames in the Gulf of Mexico.

“Holy shit! Look at that!” one fisherman exclaims, pointing towards a plume of smoke on the horizon. “Something just blew up!”

“Yeah, it did,” a second witness agrees.

At least two workers have been reported missing following the explosion. Divers hired by Black Elk Energy located one body over the weekend. The U.S. Coast Guard abandoned its search on Saturday.

Watch this video from KHOU, broadcast Nov. 19, 2012.
