Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) says that China’s People’s Daily should have known that the Onion’s pick of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un as the sexiest man alive was a joke because that title goes to Fox News host Neil Cavuto.

Following a Fox News report on how the the satirical website managed to fool China’s official newspaper, host Neil Cavuto invited McCain to update viewers on his continuing disappointment in U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice over her initial assessment of the attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

But the Arizona Senator caught Cavuto off guard by beginning with a little flirtation.

“I thought you were the sexiest man alive,” McCain told the host.

“You know, I was annoyed by that,” Cavuto admitted. “I was encouraged, Senator, that [Kim Jong-Un] is a bit chunky. This could be paving the way [for me].”

“Maybe you were separated at birth,” McCain joked.
