Former Sen. Alan Simpson (R-WY) has become the latest public figure to join the “Gangnam Style” dance craze.

In a parody of South Korean singer Psy’s popular YouTube video, Simpson attempts several dance moves including what he calls “the lasso” and “the horseback.”

The former senator is hoping to get younger Americans to sign a petition asking Congress to find a solution to the nation’s debt problem as a part of his The Can Kicks Back campaign.

“Stop Instagramming your breakfast and tweeting your First World Problems and getting on YouTube so you can see ‘Gangnam Style,’” he pleads in the video.
